Angela Clark is the cofounder and editor of a popular magazine called Gloss, but she behaves like she doesn’t know what is going on in the office. She is perpetually late and is not that much better at home.

So one can imagine the chaos that would ensue when her musician husband announces that he is setting off on a two-month backpacking holiday to Asia with a friend.

Worse, she finds out that the media empire that houses her magazine is going through major changes that would endanger everybody’s job.

Then, Mason, who is the editor of a men’s magazine in her company, proposes to her best friend. The lady in question promptly begins making huge plans and drags Angela into the midst of it all.

And if that is not enough on her plate, Angela suddenly has another secret she has to keep. With the man of her life still thousands of miles away, often with no way of communicating with him, she has to deal with epic changes and disasters in the making – and the world is spinning out of control.
