Focus on our vision
IN CONJUNCTION with World Sight Day, Watsons Malaysia is organising a public forum at Royale Chulan Damansara on Oct 20, from 12.30pm to 5pm.
The forum in English is themed ‘Every Vision Count, World Sight Day’, and is open free to the public.
On the panel of speakers are consultant ophthalmologist, oculoplastic and lacrimal surgeon Dr Ong Chin Tuan of Beacon Hospital, Optimax Malaysia’s ophthalmologist Dr Chang Khai Meng and consultant eye specialist Dr Jason Ngo Chek Tung, as well as Bausch & Lomb professional service manager Alice Tan.
They will be sharing insights on various topics concerning our eyes, and more importantly, to educate the public on vision care.
Ong will be speaking on steps to take if our eyes keep watering, while Tan will touch on healthy vision as well as answer concerns on care for contact lenses.
Meanwhile, Chang will explain about digital eye strain and Ngo will talk about 10 ways to care for the eye and retina.
Note that seats to this forum are limited (based on a first-come-first-served basis). Register at any Watsons pharmacy (Klang Valley only) or email to worldsightday@ watsons.com.my.
Participants will receive a free goody bag worth RM150.
This forum is a Watsons’ community project held in collaboration with Abbott, Alcon, Bausch & Lomb and Beacon Hospital.
