Castrol inks deal with English Premier league
CASTROL has signed an exclusive sponsorship with the English Premier League (EPL) for two-and-a-half years beginning January this year.
This international sponsorship is built on the success of Castrol’s previous football sponsorships with FIFA and UEFA for the World Cup and Europeans Championships respectively.
Through this sponsorship, Castrol aims to showcase its evolving service and maintenance business and provide an avenue for customers to engage with the two things they are most passionate about – automobiles and football.

Castrol’s range of products and services to its audience and create a platform for us to engage with them as well as appreciate them for being with us all this while. We are very excited to kick off the celebration soon,” Castrol Malaysia and Singapore marketing director Keow Mei-Shan said.
Castrol Malaysia will be conducting various activities for their digital presence. It will include contests and biweekly activities that will create engaging, fun, and interactive online space for fans to show off their knowledge of the beautiful game.
The Castrol EPL Original Moment contest is a chance for participants to share their individual recreation of memorable football moments on social media.
Apart from that, on-site campaigns will be conducted throughout the year.
Among the campaigns is an exclusive “Castrol X EPL Rover” that will go to key locations nationwide to promote the “Castrol Game Changer’’ contest which will take place from May until September this year.
Consumers will stand a chance to win merchandise with every purchase of Castrol Magnetec or Edge engine oils.
Twenty lucky consumers (with their partner) will be selected from “Castrol Game Changer’’ entries to participate in a “Race Off”, which will be hosted in a hotel.
The top eight teams will proceed to the final and two grand prize winners will receive four tickets to watch a Premier League match live in England next year.
