Breakfast with the boss

Felipe Navarro, the CEO of Mapfre Middlesea spent time with the children of the company’s employees in an interesting event on 15 July.

Eighteen children, aged between four and 12, had the opportunity to have breakfast with Mr Navarro and engage in a Question and Answer session. The CEO and President of the company explained, in simple terms, the role of an insurance company, his responsibilities within the company and the tasks carried out by the children’s parents.

After this introduction, Mr Navarro took questions from the children, who asked about his interests, his experiences in Spain and his plans for the future.

Following this session, the children were taken on a tour around the Head Office, getting to know the responsibilities of each department.

Mr Navarro was appointed chief Executive officer of Mapfre Middlesea in September 2015. He joined Mapfre, the leaders in the insurance market in Spain, in 2002.
