Three in a row for Cini and Borg
Alex Borg and Brian Cini led Malta team to its third consecutive victory and a place in the knock out stages after defeating South Africa 4-1, during the snooker teams’ world championship being held in Sharm El Sheikh Egypt.
The Malta pair will play their fourth and final group match today against high flying Iran who won all their matches and have a better frame difference.
Brian Cini is also taking part in the 6Reds competition and yesterday he obtained his second successive victory defeating Egypt’s Basem El Hattan 4-1.
Cini will play his last two matches in the group on tomorrow Monday facing India’s Rahul Ajay Sachdev and Hong Kong’s Chau Hon Man.
