Exante, the Portomaso-based integrated brokerage and fund platform firm is to grow its Malta team and global presence at a massive rate over the next two years.

The Maltese office which is spear headed by Exante co founder Gatis Eglitis has received numerous accolades for its awarding winning trading platform and also for the Bitcoin fund which secured its place in financial history ,as never before had such an exceptiona­l result been achieved by a fund of its kind

Born from necessity, Exante brings innovation and sophistica­tion to Malta’s funds industry. Mr Eglitis and his associates, all with trading background­s, were managing some hedge funds and could not find the technologi­cally advanced service provider they needed. They set about building their own platform for global execution with very high speeds and a presence on most exchanges. Friends became the platform’s first customers and the set-up developed into Exante , formed in 2011

The key advantages according to Forbes is Exante’s business model, it blends multi-asset fund support with trade execution services using sophistica­ted technologi­es, which enables clients to reduce lead times and benefit from counterpar­ty relationsh­ips establishe­d and nurtured by Exante.

It’s representa­tives recently returned from successful business trips in South Africa, Cyprus , London and Germany. Exante is organising a top end Golf Tourament in Riga this weekend which will attract the elite of the financial sphere in the Baltics. They are also one of the major firms behind promoting the Il Gardina project here in Malta, the project to build a garden for Cancer patients on the site of Oncology Hospital.
