Another milestone by KravMaga Malta senior squad

-

Nine practitioners under the care of Chief Instructor Keith Galea and his assistant Roman Repovas embarked on a three day International Krav Maga boot camp in Bergamo, Italy.

TheBootcamp, organised by KravMaga Training, consisted of a 30 hour, full contact training immersion, from Friday to Sunday, with vast techniques being constantly shown and practised, ranging from civilian to military curriculums along with conditioning sessions.

KravMaga Training offered the best instructors available for such an event. Apart from an extensive experience in Civilian and Military KravMaga, their respective backgrounds varied from Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and Military styles showing the locals the most effective ways on how to handle aggressors in different situations, whilst exposing them to various stress conditions. Factoring in scorching heat and the altitude adjustment, the bootcamp was an unforgettable experience which challenged all the practitioners’ determination and perseverance.

Chief Instructor Keith Galea commented: “Aggressiveness was asked from all the practitioners present and we can proudly say that this group from Malta has lived up to the expectations of the Bootcamp, even when the students inter-trained with others from different nationalities, our technique and application was impeccable. Through this exemplary attitude, KravMaga Training, asked us to join their ranks and represent the school here in Malta. This is yet another milestone for KravMaga Malta, which has been the only official KravMaga school here in Malta since 2010.

“This experience will undoubtedly pave the way for a greater KravMaga Malta , especially for the practitioners training as this is a further stepping stone in their development, more so, through this collaboration with KravMaga Training in Italy.

“I thank all the squad for sacrificing time, money and energy to attend such an event, but the rewards were invaluable especially on a personal level. “ immersion, from Friday to Sunday
