UK tour for Airport Impressions
Local rock band Airport Impressions will be hitting the international road on their first ever UK tour which will take place across Scotland. The tour will feature performances around main Scottish cities with performances starting off with the most anticipated event on 3 September at Midstock Festival Edinburgh. This one-day festival is growing in popularity in the UK and this year will be headlined by top UK selling act Scouting for Girls featuring also other popular acts like Pigeon Detectives and Reverend and the Makers.
Lead singer, Errol Sammut said: “We are proud to have been invited to this great festival in a region mostly known for good bands and music. The whole tour idea was triggered from this festival invite and we didn’t look back. It was great to see how UK venues reacted to our sound and they made it easy for our agent to set up an eventful tour in a short time.”
The tour will be covering popular venues in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, Perth and Aberdeen. These venues have showcased some of the biggest acts in the UK and during the tour Airport Impressions will also be supported by upcoming UK acts including among others November Lights at Stramash Edinburgh and Rachelle Rhienne at The Box Glasgow.
As part of the upcoming promo to this tour, the band’s latest album Mariette has been positively reviewed by various bloggers and also featured in Scottish music magazines. Apart from the performances, the band has also lined up some radio interviews and a TV appearance in Aberdeen.
