MUMN orders industrial action again at Mater Dei’s A&E Department

The Malta Union of Midwives and Nurses has again ordered industrial action at the Mater Dei Hospital emergency department in a dispute over staffing levels.

The action had been lifted on Tuesday after an agreement had been reached with the Health Ministry, but it was back in force again yesterday morning.

The industrial action had been ordered due to unsafe practices employed at the department.
