The event is being organised by Grupp Żgħażagħ Gudja with the collaboration of RTK4Charity. The Walk starts from Siggiewi centre, the bike ride will start off from the Mdina Cathedral while the Run will commence from the Zurrieq parish centre.

All three sport activities will end at the Dar tal-Providenza car park.

A motorbike event is also being organised on the same day, starting at 10am from Birgu. All participants through these four sport disciplines are to be given a certificate of participation and commemorative T-shirt, thank to the event’s main sponsor FINCO u HILA.

Transport to Siggiewi and Zurrieq will be provided accordingly after the event.

’Dar tal-Providenza’ provides service and dedication to its 100 residents with special needs and this is the most important aim for this home. Residents are being offered an alternative home due to some familiar problems. ’Id-Dar tal-Providenza’ offers also respite service to all the family of the residents, so to reach the goal of comfort and full support to feel at home as much as possible.

Keeping in mind that there are a good number of full timers and so many other voluntary persons, it is estimated that the Dar tal-Providenza requires € 13,000 daily to keep running its daily need for these residents. All this work can be only possible throughout our generous Maltese citizens that continuously believe and give a helping hand through donations to keep this home running smoothly and on going without any difficulties as much as possible.

On Sunday 16 October everyone is invited to participate and contribute through this activity in solidarity with this dedicated home for persons with special needs.
