Re-enactment at Ħal Millieri

Compagnia San Michele, in collaboration with Din l-Art Ħelwa, is organising a historical interpretation event at Ħal-Millieri on Saturday. The event will commence at 5 pm and continue until 10 pm. The principle aim of the event is to bring Ħal-Millieri back to life in its rural context as one of Malta’s lost mediaeval villages.

Visitors will be able to meet various characters representing 15th century rural life, including merchants, artisans, a 15thcentury priest and other characters typical of the period. They will also be able to visit the Chapel of the Annunciation of Our Lady and see its frescoes, along with an explanation of how the frescoes were originally created.
