New seals on Liquigas cylinders
Liquigas Malta has introduced new heat-shrunk seals on all its green and yellow gas cylinders with effect from October 2016. It is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to ensure safety, quality and the best service to its customers.
During the current month, gas distributors will have cylinders with either new or old seals available, but from 1 November, all Liquigas cylinders will carry the new light-green shrink-wrapped seal carrying the word Liquigas. This new seal indicates that the cylinder was filled at Liquigas’s modern facility in Bengħajsa and therefore carries a guarantee of quality and the fact that it was properly filled according to regulations. The new seals are also simpler and more convenient for users to remove before use.
“With this new Liquigas seal, our customers will now have peace of mind that the cylinder has been filled according to the international standards adopted by Liquigas. Customers are urged to check that the seal is intact to ensure that they are receiving a cylinder that is properly filled with good quality gas. The seals also carry a serial number for identification and traceability. These seals will also differentiate between Liquigas’s green and yellow cylinders and other suppliers.
