Banif sup­ports 8th edi­tion of the Pres­i­dent’s Sol­i­dar­ity Fun Run

For the eighth year run­ning, Banif Bank will be the main spon­sor of the Pres­i­dent’s Sol­i­dar­ity Fun Run, which sees peo­ple of all ages and from all walks of life unite un­der the com­mon ban­ner of ‘One Na­tion, One Heart­beat’. All pro­ceeds from the event will go to­wards the Malta Com­mu­nity Ch­est Fund Foun­da­tion.

“Sol­i­dar­ity runs high dur­ing the Fun Run which, year af­ter year, has shown an in­crease in par­tic­i­pa­tion, en­thu­si­asm and gen­eros­ity to raise funds with which the MCCF can con­tinue its im­por­tant work and help al­le­vi­ate the dif­fi­cul­ties faced by those in­di­vid­u­als, fam­i­lies and seg­ments of so­ci­ety who are in need,” said Karl Dingli, Head of Cor­po­rate Ser­vices at Banif Bank. “As al­ways, the Bank will be lend­ing its full sup­port by ac­cept­ing ap­pli­ca­tions at its branches, in the build-up to the event.”

Or­gan­ised by SportMalta, this year’s edi­tion will once again start from four points – Ra­bat for the run­ners and Santa Ven­era, Paola Square and the Univer­sity for those who will be walk­ing. All routes will pass through a num­ber of vil­lages and lead to St Ge­orge’s Square, Val­letta, fol­lowed by fes­tiv­i­ties af­ter the event.

Fun Run ap­pli­ca­tions can be col­lected from all Banif branches, MCCF of­fices at the Grand­mas­ter’s Palace and San An­ton Palace, and Maltco of­fices, as from the 17 Oc­to­ber, or on­line at www.mccf.store.
