New food and drinks menu at La Mère Restaurant
As part of its ninth anniversary celebrations, La Mère Restaurant has announced a revamped food and drinks menu– a multi sensory experience featuring fusion dishes and cocktails alongside favourites and authentic classics.
“We are delighted to present to our customers a concept that brings together in harmony different culinary influences from the Indian and Middle Eastern kitchen with an exclusive focus on converting classic cooking into innovative and contemporary cuisine” said Clinton Cachia, Chef Patron for La M re Restaurant.
Nearly at the bottom of Merchant’s Street in Valletta, past the old Suq Tal’Belt, the irresistible array of newly launched dishes at La M re Restaurant gives guests a wide variety of dishes to choose from, all bursting with flavour.
The menu offers a broad selection of starters, allowing you to whet your palate with a Lebanese spiced lamb sausage, or enjoy mussels and chorizo in coconut milk. Mains are similarly varied, giving you a choice of curries, or perhaps king prawns or lamb chops cooked in the tandoor. Our new menu also presents a selection of main dishes with a fusion twist, such a marinated filet of fish wrapped in banana leaf. There is also a good choice of vegetarian, vegan, lactose and gluten free options.
Besides we have introduced a menu degustation, an extensive wine list, cocktails and whiskeys and a broad selection of homemade desserts such as chocolate filled samosas with mango and coconut, assorted baklava, pistachio and ricotta briouats with halva ice-cream.
The restaurant is open from Monday to Saturday for Lunch from noon until 2.30pm and for Dinner from 7pm until 10.30pm.
