MaltaPost teams up with The Inspire Foundation to promote inclusion and equality through Misraħ id-Differenzi

-

‘Misraħ id-differenzi’ is a project aimed to raise awareness about the importance of diversity and inclusion amongst school children. One hundred thousand fliers are being delivered to households in Malta, encouraging school children to colour in an illustration that depicts a village square with different people enjoying each other’s company.

“In collaboration with Inspire, we sought to give participants the opportunity to fundraise for a good cause by exercising their creativity. We were delighted to participate in this initiative which aims at promoting tolerance, acceptance, and inclusion of people with different backgrounds, abilities, ages and gender,” explains MaltaPost’s Head of Customer Experience Yolande Spiteri.

“Inspire believes that everyone has a right to equality and inclusion. Our mission is to help everyone with a disability achieve this,” said Mr. Antonello Gauci – Inspire CEO. “Thanks to this collaboration with MaltaPost, thousands of school children will get the opportunity to spend time colouring-in with their families and friends, whist learning about equality and inclusion. Participants will also be in with a chance to win more than 200 prizes.”

Designed by the MaltaPost Marketing team, the flier ‘Misraħ id-differenzi’ includes an illustration for colouring-in, and a form for fundraising purposes. It is currently being delivered to households around Malta. The filled in drawing together with the money collected can be deposited at any Melita Branch or at The Inspire Foundation in Bulebel or Marsascala (Razzett tal-Ħbiberija). Alternatively a cheque (not cash) may be sent to Misraħ id-Differenzi, P.O Box 575 MRS 1000 by 30th November 2016. When depositing funds the public is reminded to also include the drawing filled in with their details.
