Biker injured in Santa Venera crash, man hit by bus in Floriana

A biker was seriously injured when the bike he was riding was involved in a collision with a car in Cannon Road, Santa Venera on Monday.

The biker, a 37-year-old from Birkirkara, was taken to hospital for treatment. The driver of the car, a 44-year-old from Santa Venera, was unhurt.

In a separate accident, a 61year-old from Birkirkara was also grievously hurt when he was hit by a bus in Sarria Street, Floriana.

The bus was being driven by a 24-year-old from Cospicua.
