MCAST member of staff wins award for most Engaged Maltese EPALE Ambassador
Ramon Mangion, MCAST Curriculum Administrator and EPALE Ambassador for Malta (European Platform for Adult Learning in Europe) won the award for the most engaged Maltese EPALE Ambassador.
The Directorate for Lifelong Learning and Early School Leavers is the National Support Service for EPALE, which is an online platform community for professionals working in the adult education sector. EPALE is funded by the European Commission, in an ongoing effort to improve the quality of adult learning in Europe.
The Directorate for Learning and Early Lifelong School Leavers in February 2016 nominated 13 EPALE Ambassadors. Mr Ramon Mangion represented MCAST. The role of an EPALE Ambassador is to make use of the platform and share knowledge by uploading content. Moreover, each ambassador has an important role in introducing EPALE to its clients and members.
As the most Engaged Maltese EPALE Ambassador Award, Ramon Mangion has attended every meeting, written various blogs on EPALE, promoted the platform amongst his students, invited the Directorate on a radio station and has constantly been supporting the platform with new registered users on EPALE.
