MCAST mem­ber of staff wins award for most En­gaged Mal­tese EPALE Am­bas­sador

Ra­mon Man­gion, MCAST Cur­ricu­lum Ad­min­is­tra­tor and EPALE Am­bas­sador for Malta (Euro­pean Plat­form for Adult Learn­ing in Europe) won the award for the most en­gaged Mal­tese EPALE Am­bas­sador.

The Di­rec­torate for Life­long Learn­ing and Early School Leavers is the Na­tional Sup­port Ser­vice for EPALE, which is an on­line plat­form com­mu­nity for pro­fes­sion­als work­ing in the adult ed­u­ca­tion sec­tor. EPALE is funded by the Euro­pean Com­mis­sion, in an on­go­ing ef­fort to im­prove the qual­ity of adult learn­ing in Europe.

The Di­rec­torate for Learn­ing and Early Life­long School Leavers in Fe­bru­ary 2016 nom­i­nated 13 EPALE Am­bas­sadors. Mr Ra­mon Man­gion rep­re­sented MCAST. The role of an EPALE Am­bas­sador is to make use of the plat­form and share knowl­edge by up­load­ing con­tent. More­over, each am­bas­sador has an im­por­tant role in in­tro­duc­ing EPALE to its clients and mem­bers.

As the most En­gaged Mal­tese EPALE Am­bas­sador Award, Ra­mon Man­gion has at­tended ev­ery meet­ing, writ­ten var­i­ous blogs on EPALE, pro­moted the plat­form amongst his stu­dents, in­vited the Di­rec­torate on a ra­dio sta­tion and has con­stantly been sup­port­ing the plat­form with new reg­is­tered users on EPALE.
