Alvin Vella wins Qormi trap event

Alvin Vella was the overall winner of The Qormi Trap event organised on Sunday at The Qormi Shooting Club.

This event was over 50 clays trap, with the top six shooters to qualify for the semi finals and the medal match on another 15 clays each.

Alvin Vella placed 1st with 45/50 - 13/15 - 11/15. George Mifsud was 2nd with 44/50 12/15 - 10/15 and George Grech 3rd with 42/50 - 9/15 9/15.

Fourth was Frank Scorfna with 43/50 - 8/15+1 - 8/15. Stephen Aquilina Followed with with 42/50 - 8/15+0 while Horace Micallef placed 6th with 44/50 - 7/15.
