Tenishia to say ‘Thank you Malta’ this month

Malta’s very own international DJ Tenishia is taking a break from his World Touring to return to the home island to promote this year’s Tenishia: Thank you party on 19 November at Sky Club. Tenishia has been holding this event yearly every November since 2011 as a thank you to the local following.

Just off the results of the DJ MAG top 100, where Tenishia placed 115 from an estimate of 50K djs from all over the world, Joven Grech, the remaining member of Tenishia since the duo’s amicable parting earlier this year, said that the results this year were better than expected after what he described as a reset year. Earlier this year the duo announced their amicable parting for reasons of bigger solo opportunities. He said that despite everything the result was quite satisfying and it was really great to see the local following was still supporting even

after the hard decision.

Tenishia is the most followed Maltese artist on social media with over a quarter of a million followers on Facebook alone, holds the record of the most shows played abroad by any Maltese performer and also made it with the Top 50 DJs of the World in 2012.

Joven said that even after all his international performances at some of the world’s biggest festivals like Tomorrowland and the world’s biggest and most prestigious clubs, it is always good to come home and say thank you to the people that made him and gave him so much support since the very start.
