The perfect Christmas gift fair in aid of Beyond the Moon

-

The Perfect Christmas Gift Fair, which has become a much-loved staple on the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa’s festive calendar, is set to return on Saturday, 19 and Sunday, 20 November. The fair will once again raise funds for the Beyond the Moon Foundation.

“It is our absolute pleasure to be organising this fair for the fourth time in a row,” says organiser, Marisa Xuereb. “Once again, in fact, we’re planning two days full of fun for all the family, with loads of stalls selling both artisanal and commercial items, a great selection of festive food, entertainment throughout the day, workshops for children and adults and many-a-cup of mulled wine.

“Of course, all proceeds from

donations made through the raffle at the fair will go to Beyond the Moon, an international charity that gives families of seriously-ill children the chance to get away from hospitals and the struggles in their daily life to enjoy their time as a family,” she adds.

The Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa’s commitment to raising money for the Beyond the Moon Foundation goes back 10 years, with over €73,000 raised for the charity between 2006 and 2016. This money has been used to send numerous Maltese families to places like Disneyland Paris in France and Centre Parcs in the UK.

“While one can put a price on a holiday, the joy these trips give to the families of children who

have chronic or life-threatening diseases is priceless,” Ms Xuereb continues. “As a hotel, we believe it’s important for us to do our share and give back to people in need, and we hope that people will join us at this year’s fair to help us raise even more money for this wonderful charity.”

This year, the Perfect Christmas Gift Fair will return to the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa in Attard, following a one-year break during which it was held at San Anton Palace. The formula, meanwhile, will remain the same with lots of festive cheer, dancing, art, food and music, among others.
