Malta defeat Andorra again
The Malta Women’s national team easily beat Andorra 4-0 in their second friendly international this week. A brace from Raina Giusti during the first half paved the way for an easy win the Malta ladies, ably marshalled in midfield by Rachael Cuschieri who at times dominated in her role. With Giusti always a constant menace to the Andorra defence, Malta dominated for long periods and with substitute Ylenia Carabott scoring a brace herself in the second half to make sure of the result. Two positive results against Andorra this week (3-0 and 40) should augur well for this promising Malta women’s team.
