-

On 32 minutes Lija drew level when Garcia Vidal left a couple of defenders in his wake before serving Paolo Dandolo who scored with a low drive.

The second half continued on the same wavelength with both sides in search of the three points at stake. On 69 m inutes Senglea went close when a Juninho Cabral shot was incredibly stopped on the goal line by Antoine Borg.

The same player started the counter break with Paolo Dandolo hitting the upright with Farrugia beaten.
