EY Malta promotes new partner and new director
EY Malta has announced that Shawn Falzon has been promoted to Assurance Partner and Chris Meilak to that of Transaction Advisory Services Executive Director. This year’s new partner class in EY’s Central and Southern European (CSE) region includes a record percentage of partners from the emerging markets – 35 per cent of all new partners. In addition, EY continues to focus on increasing the proportion of female partners, with this year’s promotions coming in at almost 30 per cent.
Ronald Attard, EY CSE TAS leader and EY Malta Country Managing partner, said: “I would like to congratulate and warmly welcome Shawn Falzon as a new Assurance partner and Chris Meilak as a new Transaction Advisory Services executive director. EY Malta’s leadership team is now comprised of five partners and six executive directors.“

EY continued to reaffirm its commitment to the advancement of women, with female partner promotions representing 29 per cent (208), including women across all geographies and service lines.
