Preparations in full s wing for the BOV Joseph Calleja Foundation Fundraising Concert
Preparations for the fourth edition of the BOV Joseph Calleja Fund Raising Concert are picking up fast as the the Maltese Tenor, flanked by several of the Foundation’s scholars commence rehearsals for the event which, this year, is being hosted at the Teatru Manoel on the 7th December. They will be accompanied by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Brian Schembri.
Speaking about the event, Joseph Calleja said, “It is always a thrill at this stage as everything starts coming together. The programme is now finalised, rehearsals are underway and seat take up indicate that we will be performing to a full house”.
“I am truly humbled and honoured by the generosity and support of our patrons and benefactors, who share our vision. Together with the other protagonists of the concert and the administrators, we are looking forward to giving a memorable performance.” Immediately following the concert, patrons are invited to attend a reception at Casino Maltese, where they will also meet Joseph Calleja and the participating artists.
Few tickets remain for the concert that will be taking place on the 7th December at Teatru Manoel starting at 8pm. Seats for the concert are available against a donation of €100 each (stalls and lower boxes) or €50 (gallery). Tickets may be reserved through teatrumanoel.com.mt.
