BOV employees’ children get into the festive mood

-

As is customary during the festive season, Bank of Valletta organised a big bash for the children of its employees.

A lot of meticulous planning goes into the organisation as the event needs to cater for over 800 children with ages ranging from 3 to 12 years.

The children were split into three groups. Children aged 3 to 4 years attended a live staged animated activity at Eden Cinema, which included popular and wellloved characters, as well as elves and Santa Claus. Children up to the age of nine watched the new release Moana in two different cinemas, under the watchful eyes of their carers. Delta4 Entertainment Centre provided the ideal setting for a proper adventure for the older children. They had a whale of a time playing laser tag as well as skating on the ice rink.

Every child had a photo taken to mark the festive occasion and on their way out the children all received a gift from Santa and his helpers.

The festive atmosphere and children’s laughter were the best gift for the army of helpers who dedicated their time and energy on the day to ensure that everything ran smoothly and in a safe environment.

Speaking about the initiative, Charles Azzopardi, Head PR & Marketing said, “We have always looked upon our people as a mini-community. This occasion takes this feeling a step further, enabling us to give a treat to our staff's children.”
