Motorcyclist suffers grievous injuries after collision

A 26-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei with grievous injuries following a collision with a car in Mellieħa.

The accident, which took place on Triq il-Marfa, occurred when the Honda motorcycle collided with a Peugeot 208 which was being driven by a 27-year-old male from San Ġwann.

Police were immediately on the scene, and the motorcyclist was taken to Mater Dei.

The police investigation is still underway.
