Chelsea beat West Ham and move 10 points clear at top of standings

-

Chelsea yesterday beat West Ham 2-1 in a London derby and moved 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League standings.

A 25th minute strike from Belgian star striker Eden Hazard paved the way for their victory. Diego Costa scored the second five minutes into the second half.

They now have 66 points from 27 matches and with 11 more matches to play, Antonio Conte’s side is an outright favourite to win the title. Hazard concluded a choral move by dribbling round the goalie before hitting home into an empty net.

Costa scored the second on 50 minutes following a cornerkick action.

Lanzini scored for West Ham in added time.
