MUT makes urgent appeal on safety issues outside MCAST campus in Mosta

The Malta Union of Teachers yesterday appealed to the Transport Minister to urgently intervene in what it described as “safety issues” being caused by construction and the use of heavy vehicles near the MCAST Mosta campus.

“In fact, accidents have already happened and property of MCAST students and staff has been damaged.”

The MUT asked the Minister to look into the situation before an unfortunate serious accident happens.

Also, the MUT stated that due to the increase in student population, parking issues in the area are now unacceptable.
