Mosta Shaggy Pub keep marching on. They beat the challenge of B’KARA MASTERS to increase their lead at the top of the standing of the Premier Masters League. At this crucial period of the championship, they are the team to beat.

They have a well organised team in every aspect with some experienced players such as Stefan Sultana, Jeffrey Chetcuti and other.

The team is ably coached by the energetic Charles Agius. B’Kara lost again, but they were never outclassed. It seems this is not the champioonship they dreamed of.

Wardija is also passing through a positive stage, beating Marsa White Stars Barilla to keep their hopes alive of winning honours in their first season.

They had Michael Borg Olivier in excellent form being chosen the man of the match and scoring no less than five goals. Marsa tried their best, but this was not enough against supeior opponents.

James Galea again showed his ability infront of goal..

In the match of the week, Dingli Desana gained a double against Rabat Cavette beating them fairly and squarelyy 12-5.

They played like champions with captain Carlo Mamo scoring four beautiful goals and was the pick of everyone as the best player.

Rabat suffered a heavy defeat through their own fault,

After starting well and also taking a lead of 3-1, from then on they were a disorganised side with players arguing with each other , an attitude that played heavily for their downfall and suffring such a heavy defeat.

In the Coca Cola First Division Masters, Melita Celtics beat Zurrieq Wolves in an entertaiing game 6-4. . This was Melita’s third win this season. They are a this season to finish with the top three.

In Timothy Elllis they have a talented player. He scored four of his team’s total.
