A boat jumble sale and a sail over to Gozo for Easter

The Malta Cruising Club (MCC) will be organising their traditiona­l yearly crossing to Gozo during the Easter period between the 14th April (Good Friday) and the 16th April 2017 (Easter Sunday).

Members are expected to sail off their berth in Malta on the Good Friday at 11:00 am; destinatio­n Mgarr Harbour Marina in Gozo where special arrangemen­ts have been made for the MCC fleet to berth on this Gozo visit.

Further to enjoying the MaltaGozo crossing this trip is mainly regarded as a weekend of relaxation for members and their families with the main activity being to attend the Good Friday procession at the Victoria Cathedral.

Saturday is a free day where members are expected to enjoy a few hours of sailing from their temporary base at the Mgarr Marina to met in the evening to have dinner together.

The MCC fleet will leave Gozo and sail back to Malta in the late Easter Sunday morning.

Meanwhile the Malta Cruising Club (MCC) will be organising a Boat Jumble Sale on Sunday 9th April at the Pieta’ Sea Front (near Pontoon G) between 9:00 am and 12:00 Noon.

Here members can bring along any boat related items they may want to sell to fellow members or the public.

The Club will provide tables to whoever wants to set up a stall for Euro 5 per table of 4 feet and Euro 8 for an 8 feet table.

It is recommande­d that all items for sale are labeled with a price tag.

Those interested are requested to contact the Club on maltacruis­ingclub@gmail.com by Thursday 6th April with their request for table.

At the Boat Jumble Sale Club burgees and Club polo shirts will be available for purchase while on the occasion members could also renew their Club membership.
