Paul Formosa wins QCSC Trophy
Paul Formosa won the QCSC Trap Trophy at the Qormi Clay Shooting Club, while newcomer Justin Borg secured the second highest position on the podium as he finished ahead of George Mifsud, who had to settle for third place overall.
This event was organised on two qualification rounds of 25 clay targets each, where the six highest ranked shooters advanced to the final and shot in another five knockout stages from a single shot. The finals results were: 1st Paul Formosa 18/25 + 4/5 + 4/5 + 4/5 + 9/10, total score 39/50
2nd Justin Borg 18/25 + 2/5 + 5/5 + 5/5 + 5/10, total score 35/50
3rd George Mifsud 18/25 + 3/5 + 4/5 + 4/5, total score 29/40
4th Jean Pierre Mifsud 17/25 + 3/5 + 2/5, total score 22/35
5th Rudolph Zammit 15/25 + 1/5, total score 16/30
6th Stephen Aquilina 10/25, total score 10/25
