Miss Malta 2017
The eldest and most prestigious beauty contest in our islands, Miss Malta, will this year be celebrating its 54th edition as it was first organized by the late George and Margaret Gatt Mangion in 1963.
For the second consecutive year, the full organisation of such a great contest will be under the management of Mr Vince Taliana, director of Glamorous Entertainment and a familiar name in beauty pageants industry since 2003. Mr Taliana is already quite ahead in the planning of such a prestigious contest. He personally would like to express his gratitude to Ms Joanne Parascandalo for once again entrusting Miss Malta 2017 under the organisation of Mr Taliana and his team.
Maltese women, aged between 17 and 26 will be eligible to apply. Miss Malta final pageant will take place at Radisson Golden Sands on Saturday 25th November 2017 during a live transmission on ONE. A number of participants will be chosen to represent the various localities in Malta and Gozo. The winner will then be our ambassador in Miss Earth international beauty pageant in 2018.
Models will be judged on their beauty, physical fitness, photo looks, as well as their personality. Models will be prepared fully for their final show of Miss Malta 2017. The three main winners will be announced: Miss Malta 2017, Miss Republic of Malta 2017, Miss Tourism 2017. In the meantime full preparations are going on with Miss Malta 2016 Christie Refalo to represent Malta in the Miss Earth 2017.
Dates of auditions will start on Monday 12th June 2017. If you are aged between 17 and 26 and not married you can attend the auditions. No previous experience is required as full training will be given. So new faces without any experience are very welcome to apply.
