Express Trailers sponsors Mosta Cycling Club

Express Trailers, through its ShipLowCost brand, is supporting the Mosta Cycling Club‘s Mosta Triathlon Team. The sponsorship agreement covers four years and is the first cycling club being sponsored by Express Trailers.

“Our company relies mainly on road transport and whilst we operate a network of operations across all mainland Europe, each delivery starts and finishes on Malta’s roads. We acknowledge that our fleet of trucks and trailers puts a burden on all the other road users, especially the more vulnerable ones such as runners and cyclists. Our sponsorship to the Mosta Cycling Club whose athletes cycle on our roads, seeks to redress the balance,” said Franco Azzopardi, Chairman and CEO of Express Trailers during the sponsorship presentation.

Thanking Express Trailers for their sponsorship, Edward Enriquez, Club Secretary of the Mosta Cycling Club said, “the club is now also affiliated to the Malta Triathlon Federation and our Mosta Tri Team has already started achieving some very positive results. This is why we are delighted that Express Trailers is showing its trust in our club and supporting us through its door-to-door delivery brand ShipLowCost.com.

“This brand is now featured as our main sponsor for the Club’s Triathlon Section. In fact the sponsorship also enabled us to finance the design and purchase of our Triathlon Suits and to organise our forthcoming triathlons races,” said Edward Enriquez.

The next competition for the Mosta Tri Team will be the B’Kara St Joseph Triathlon event on the Coast Road on the 9th July.
