The values of the Nationalist Party unite us all – Adrian Delia
The Nationalist Party needs to open its doors to allow itself to become a nest for ideas and thoughts, the aim of which would be that of making a remarkable difference in our lives, PN leadership contender Adrian Delia said.
Speaking at the Mosta PN club, Delia said: “We need to continue honing the values that unite us and move forward together in a new way to make the Nationalist Party the natural choice for Maltese and Gozitans alike.”
Delia continued by saying that as leader of the Nationalist Party, he will ensure that anyone holding the party close to heart will be welcome and given the opportunity to continue the politics that make up the Nationalist Party. He explained that a ‘new way’ would mean to combine different thoughts so that the Nationalist Party will once again become a force that answers to our children’s aspirations.
He promised to strengthen all the structures within the PN by creating more synergy between them, particularly by fusing the energy of youths with the experience of veterans. He said that as a leader of the Nationalist Party, he will commit to a factual plan to continue strengthening the financial viability of the party. He added that any restructuring in this sense will be done to ascertain a growth in financial investment while also continuing to invest in human resources.
Delia continued that the Opposition party will be prepositive and more in touch with people so as to be able to convince and win the next 2019 elections. He ascertained that he stands with outgoing party leader Simon Busuttil in the fight against corruption and promised that his vision is one were normality would once again reign in our country and where our institutions would truly work without fear or favour and where the people would feel that they are truly living in a democracy which we fought so hard for in the past.
