Helping Hands collaborates with Victim Support Malta
Victim Support Malta (VSM) is a registered Non-Governmental Organisation which provides support and assistance to victims of crime, such as theft and burglary, domestic violence, sexual assault, harassment, discrimination and cybercrime. In the past few years, Victim Support Malta has worked tirelessly to support victims of crime in the Maltese islands and to be the voice of victims, who often have very little access to their rights and to justice.
Helping Hands has, for the past 13 years, worked constantly with various NGOs to help promote organisations’ aims and services to the general public.
For the first time, Helping Hands and Victim Support Malta are going to be working on a campaign together to help raise awareness about VSM’s aims and services. This will be done with the aid of the HH Family Magazine, which is coming out now. This new issue, number 82, will be ripe with information about Victim Support Malta and the services provided by them, which include the provision of emotional support to assist victims in overcoming trauma following a crime, legal information pertaining to the relative criminal procedures, and practical assistance.
The magazine will also contain new articles, real life stories, facts, games, jokes and recipes for the whole family. Helping Hands would like to remind their clients to always check the salesperson’s name tag whenever approached by a Helping Hands representative.
