New Pri­mary Health Care CEO to be ap­pointed shortly

Pri­mary Health Care is cur­rently with­out a CEO as the last per­son to oc­cupy this po­si­tion re­signed from the post ear­lier in Au­gust.

The Malta In­de­pen­dent is in­formed that Renzo de Gabriele re­signed as chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer on 14 Au­gust. When reached for a com­ment, de Gabriele said that he had left the post as he had been of­fered a bet­ter op­por­tu­nity. He ex­plained that he had been given long-term un­paid leave in or­der to pur­sue an­other job op­por­tu­nity.

Fol­low­ing his de­par­ture, this news­room con­tacted the Min­istry for Health to see who had been ap­pointed to oc­cupy the va­cated post. A spokesper­son for the min­istry said that a new CEO for Pri­mary Health Care would be ap­pointed “shortly”. It was not spec­i­fied by when the new CEO will be cho­sen.
