New Primary Health Care CEO to be appointed shortly
Primary Health Care is currently without a CEO as the last person to occupy this position resigned from the post earlier in August.
The Malta Independent is informed that Renzo de Gabriele resigned as chief executive officer on 14 August. When reached for a comment, de Gabriele said that he had left the post as he had been offered a better opportunity. He explained that he had been given long-term unpaid leave in order to pursue another job opportunity.
Following his departure, this newsroom contacted the Ministry for Health to see who had been appointed to occupy the vacated post. A spokesperson for the ministry said that a new CEO for Primary Health Care would be appointed “shortly”. It was not specified by when the new CEO will be chosen.
