England fan who became star after invading pitch during Malta match mocked in court by judge… for being Arsenal fan

-

Arsenal and their fans have been on the end of some brutal trolling after their dreadful start to the season.

Losing to Stoke, being embarrassed 4-0 by Liverpool and having a deadline day to forget has added to the troubles at the crisis-hit club.

But it has got worse for one Gunners faithful who decided to invade the pitch during England’s 4-0 win against Malta.

Jake Peachey, 16, was in Malta for the game when he decided to tweet saying he would get on the field if he received 400 retweets.

And before he had time to think about what he had just asked, the post was shared and reached well above the 400 asked for.

On the 69th minute, Jake stuck to his word and invaded the pitch and was quickly charged by policemen who escorted him away.

He spent a night in a cell before appearing in court and being handed a €200 fine.

Jake also received a ban from Maltese sporting facilities for a year.

But this was not before the magistrate in the case, Joe Mifsud, was able to poke fun at Jake for being a Gooner

The magistrate — who is thought to be a huge Juventus fan — asked the young lad who he followed to which he replied: “Arsenal.”

Mifsud then said: “You always come close, but never win anything.”

Things could get worse for Jake yet, as UK authorities could hand him a travel ban and the FA could give him a lifetime ban from England matches.

But after the uneventful performance on Friday, it looks like he may not be too upset about the latter.
