2,000 tourists from 50 countries in Malta for Glitch Festival

Malta’s freshest festival outing, ‘Glitch Festival’, has quickly positioned itself as an essential date in the house and techno calendar with its winning formula combining heavyweigh­t global electronic artists, picturesqu­e location and unbeatable atmosphere. This year’s edition held a couple of days ago was a groundshak­ing success, drawing a crowd of well over 4,000 dedicated party goers with around 2,000 of them travelling to Malta from 50 different countries including Brazil, Australia, Canada, UK, France and Germany.

With a bill that encapsulat­ed the finest names in the electronic circuit such as Ben Klock, Maceo Plex, Recondite, Marcel Dettmann, Mr.G, Jon Hopkins, Palms Trax, Dax J, Legowelt, DJ Stingray, Blawan, DJ Seinfeld, Vril, Jupiter Jax, Hail BLK and many more, Glitch Festival has definitely put Malta on the map. Saturday’s boat party was a special affair too, with Space Dimension Controller and Jupiter Jax stepping up to play across the Mediterran­ean ocean for the perfect sunsoaked expedition. Some of the World’s most renowned music magazines including Mixmag, Resident Advisor & Ransom Note had words of praise about the second edition of Glitch Festival.

Located in Gianpula Fields, Glitch Festival gave attendees the chance to experience the spirit of Malta’s undergroun­d circuit, and show why the Island is fast becoming a standout festival location stunning scenery, deep culture, history and the perfect climate make Malta a must visit location for the electronic music aficionado.
