Kirkop beat Dingli with two penalties

Mellieha came from behind to register an important win against Ghaxaq in the first match at the Charles Abela Stadium. Florin Anton gave Ghaxaq the lead from the penalty spot after 7 minutes but goals from Jack Vella on 56 minutes, James Borg on 65 minutes and Kyle Simiana on 67 minutes secured the win for the Northerner­s. In the second match at the Charles Abela Stadium, Zurrieq easily beat Marsaskala by two goals to nil with a brace by Daniel Zammit on 5 and 64 minutes.

In the first match at the Charles Abela Stadium, Mdina Knights beat Xghajra Tornados by three goals to nil. Samuel Bartolo opened the scoring after 15 minutes with Chris Farrugia adding another on 77 minutes. Andrea Spiteri sealed the issue three minutes from time. Kirkop United beat Dingli Swallows by two goals to nil scoring two penalties through Bjorn Chetcuti after 9 minutes and Michael Theuma after 85 minutes.

Santa Venera Lightnings easily beat Ta’ Xbiex by four goals to one in an action packed game at the Charles Abela Stadium. William Camilleri put Santa Venera ahead after 49 minutes but Matt Fenech equalised after 60 minutes. The Saints then secured the points and league leadership through a hat trick by Eddie Wileman on 82, 85 and 87 minutes. Msida St Joseph beat Mtarfa by the odd goal in three in the second match at the Sirens Stadium. Msida went ahead through Rafael De Fex Marriaga after 7 minutes with Mtarfa equalising through Paul Azzopardi on 65 minutes. The winning goal came courtesy of Jonathan Francica three minutes from time.
