Rabat claim first win

- Qrendi : Rabat A: Referee:

Qrendi Rabat A 0 3

After seven successive defeats Rabat gained their first win of the season beating Qrendi 3-0, with the latter suffering their second successive setback.

Rabat took the lead on 27 minutes with a Dylan Falzon header and in stoppage time of the first half scored a good goal from the edge of the area. Ryan Micallef doubled the score with a precise grounder.

Qrendi did come back in the second half and had some near misses too but the Rabat defence was for once at its best yesterday.

Rabat had some good counter breaks and four minutes from time Rabat sealed the issue to make sure of their first victory when substitute Adam Smeir scored from the edge of the area.
