Festive cheer for children of BOV employees
It was a Christmas party with a difference for the 700 plus children of BOV employees this festive season. Bank of Valletta hosted the event at the Esplora Interactive Science Centre in Bighi on a Sunday morning earlier this month.
The young invitees were in for an adventure. Upon their arrival they were split in different age groups, so they could participate in interactive activities suitable for their age. The BOV organising team worked hard with the Esplora staff to sketch different itineraries to entertain the young audiences, whilst encouraging them to explore and use their imagination concurrently.
Speaking about the event, Charles Azzopardi, Executive PR & Marketing at the bank explained, “At Bank of Valletta, we take pride in instilling a community spirit that goes beyond the work place. Organising activities for the children of our staff features prominently in our calendar of events, and the Christmas party, which is targeted at children aged three to twelve, arguably is the biggest event in terms of sheer numbers and the logistics involved. It was the first time that we opted for Esplora, and it was only as a result of the dedication of the organisers and the team work involved that this event was such a success.”
After attending the party, all children were given a Christmas gift by the bank. In addition, every child had the opportunity to take a photo with Santa Claus or one of his helpers.
