In an action by Balzan, Busuttil was fouled in midfield and after the free kick by Craig Borg, Zahra saved a shot from the edge of the area by Luca Zammit.

Cassar Torreggiani was fouled outside the area and Falzon saved from the free kick by Reece Galea.

Cassar Torreggiani served Galea in the area and after Falzon partly saved his shot the rebound by Spiteri was cleared to a corner.

Spiteri then served Andrew Sultana with a high cross in the area from the right flank but he missed the upright with his header. trying
