120,000 passengers to visit Malta aboard MSC Seaview

MSC Seaview, MSC Cruises’ latest jewel will be christened in Genoa on Saturday 9 June by Sophia Loren, movie star and godmother of all MSC Cruises since 2003, in a ceremony presented by Michelle Hunziker, the star of Italian TV, actress, presenter, model and singer who embodies the distinctiv­e internatio­nal spirit of MSC Cruises.

MSC Seaview will then set sail to Malta and will grace Malta’s Grand Harbour every Wednesday bringing over to Malta over 120,000 passengers between June and 14 November.

MSC Seaview will be cruising around the Mediterran­ean giving the unique weekly opportunit­y to over 5,000 Maltese and Gozitan holiday makers to cruise round the Mediterran­ean from Malta to Malta.

MSC Seaview flies the Maltese flag and all MSC Cruises new cruise liners are now being registered in Malta.

MSC Cruises prides itself to be amongst the world’s most famous cruise fleets that sends thousands of passengers to Malta. MSC Cruises sent 270,000 passengers aboard its luxurious cruises liners to Malta during 2017.

MSC Seaview will spend her inaugural summer season in the balmy Western Mediterran­ean, where MSC Cruises’ expertise is unparallel­ed. An MSC Cruises vacation is the perfect way to discover different cultures, beauties and tastes and guests will be able to experience the wonders of the Mediterran­ean in true MSC Cruises style.

MSC Seaview will call at popular Mediterran­ean destinatio­ns including Barcellona, Marseilles, Naples, Messina and Valletta, where guests can benefit from a wide range of shore activities that will help them discover the region.

Inspired by a pioneering beach condo concept, MSC Seaview will bring guests and the sea closer, with special design elements that make the most of the warmer weather. Guests will be able to spend time outdoors eating, drinking and relaxing in the Mediterran­ean sunshine with some of the best sea views in the world. Guests will also enjoy an increased number of balcony staterooms, sea views and public areas, with every element carefully planned to make the most of the sea and the sunshine.

MSC Seaview has a guest capacity of 5,119, 1413 crew members, she is the second newly-built next-generation mega cruise ship in the MSC Cruises fleet.
