MEA will be hosting MITA’s business-related content on its online portal

-

The Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) and the Malta Employers Association (MEA) have signed a three-year agreement, with which MITA will be allocated a prominent space in the MEAINDEX homepage. Through this space, MITA will be promoting its services to small and medium-sized enterprises, mostly those related to the National Cyber Security Awareness and Education Campaign that MITA is implementing under the direction of the National Cyber Security Strategy Committee within the remit of the Parliamentary Secretariat for Financial Services, Digital Economy & Innovation.

The MEAINDEX is an online toolbox for business entrepreneurs, intended to assist enterprises in starting-up and growing. It also helps to simplify their administrative procedures.

Through this agreement, MITA will be providing MEA with hands-on technical advice, regarding the navigation and dynamics involved in relation to MITA information. It will also assist in disseminating and in marketing MEAINDEX through its channels.

On the other side, MEA will allocate prominent space to MITA on the MEAINDEX homepage, so that MITA can feature its services intended for businesses. Much of the content shared by MITA will be related to cyber security and how businesses can keep their enterprise safe from being compromised.

MITA will also have the possibility to share current news, articles and information on the website and to take part in the SMEWEEK held on 15th November 2018. The Agency will also have the possibility to share adverts on an MEA television programme.

The agreement was signed between MITA’s Executive Chairman, Mr Tony Sultana and MEA’s Director General, Mr Joseph Farrugia where discussions are already underway on how this agreement can be further boosted.
