Sirens scored three goals in the last eight minutes of the match to gain three furtehr points and consolidate their leadership. They are now clear favourites to gain promotion to the Premier after yesterday’s performance.

Sirens were dominant in the first half, taking the lead and missing several scoring chances, even from the penalty spot.

In the second half Qrendi made a good reaction and managed to obtain the equaliser two minutes past the hour. Qrendi even went close a surprise lead, as the game was now an open contest.

However nine minutes from time Qrendi were down to ten when their captain Bondin received a second booking, and Sirens took immediate advantage scoring three goals to put the issue beyond doubt.
