Two early second half goals gave San Gwann a precious victory of Qrendi in a direct clash at the lower end of the table. Qrendi are noe in deep trouble, lying just a point over the same San Gwann.

San Gwann fully deserved their victory as they dominated the second half after a ratehr balanced first half.

The first half had little to offer with Qrendi holding the upper hand for long stretches, but San Gwann going very close half way through the first half, having two shots cleared off the goal line.

On their part Qrendi had a Christian Caruana just missng the upright and a close range effort by Ciro Quaranta brilliantl­y blocked by Mestrovic.

After the break San Gwann scored two quick goals through Renan de Oliveira

Barcelona was a stunning 3-0 loss at Roma that eliminated it from the Champions League quarterfin­als last season.
