Yachting Malta welcomes the 6th Beneteau Yacht Rendezvous

Yachting Malta recently hosted the Welcome Reception of the 6th Beneteau Yacht Rendezvous. Previously held in Mallorca, the Rendezvous, was hosted for the first time in Malta, by Beneteau Yachts (France).

The sixth edition of this gathering, brought together-Beneteau yachts, of over fifty feet in length, together for a weekend of socialising and sailing. This annual event has garnered popularity establishing itself as the perfect opportunity to bring together people sharing a common passion whilst establishing special relationships.

Apart from the welcome reception, participants were able to enjoy the sea surrounding the Maltese islands by means of a number of races around Malta’s smaller islands of Comino and Gozo.

Whilst daytime was all about sailing and racing, the evenings were about letting one’s hair down at the informal social gatherings which brought about a lot of laughter and banter, wrapping up some beautiful days on the water.

Addressing the participants and welcoming the organisers, Yachting Malta Chairman, John Huber expressed his satisfaction at seeing such notable events being hosted in Malta.
