The South Camp; in collaboration with Zurrieq Wolves FC Youth Nursery

It is with great pleasure that we announce the launch of the our first ever summer Camp: The South Camp.

This is the first ever summer camp to be held in the South region of Malta.

The camp will be professionally administered under the guidance of Mr Manuel Bugeja and Mr David Camilleri.

The coordinator of this camp is Mr Julian Briffa. Mr Briffa has a long, on-going football and coaching career which includes playing for top flight clubs such as Floriana FC and Sliema W. FC.

He is presently engaged as a player coach with Zurrieq FC. Ex national team player, Mr Joey Falzon has been appointed as Head Coach and he will be supervising the coaches and the main football activities of this camp

The camp starts on the 6th of July, 2020 and will run all through the months of July and August, ending on the 28th of August 2020.

The camp will be held three times weekly, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 8.30 and noon at the Zurrieq FC football pitch.

Whilst football is indeed the main focus of this camp other activities are also scheduled. These include Futsal sessions, abseiling and boxing. Weekly talks concerning sports activities, nutrition and health will also be held.

Leicester City Academy’s Mr Leroy Moore, Mr Eric Odhiambo and Mr Steve Hodges will also conduct 2 sets of sessions. Ultimately they will be selecting a few participants for a training experience in Leicester.
