Maltco Lotteries awards five agents for their 2020 achievements

Maltco Lotteries presented 5 different awards to agents who were recognised for their achievements in different matters related to their work. This was possible following the introduction of a Retail Management System (RMS) which has been designed and built internally with the purpose of rewarding exceptionally achieving Maltco agents. The presentation was held at Maltco’s Head Office in Iklin.

The five winning categories were determined according to a set of criteria which was then used to evaluate and reward all Maltco’s agents through the newly launched RM System. Apart from sales performance, agents were evaluated against a number of different standards which include customer service, responsible gaming and operational readiness. The latter consists of POS upkeep, which is very important for retailers to maintain their points of sale for players to have an entertaining gaming experience, and Agent game specific knowledge.

The categories and winners of the 2020 Retailers Awards are:

• Diamond Category Winner (Overall RMS Bonus Scheme Winner) – Mr. Matthew Polidano, POS153 in Valletta.

• Best Customer Service of the year Award – Ms. Carmen Hili, POS146 in Żejtun.

• Best Product Knowledge of year 2020 Award – Mr. Craig Debattista – POS079 in Għargħur.

• Best Responsible Gaming Retailer Award – Ms. Mary Doris Agius - POS326 in Żabbar.

• ‘Best Point of Sale Upkeep Award – Mr. Jean Paul Pace – POS382 in Żejtun.

Whilst congratulating all winners, Maltco CEO Vasileios Kasiotakis expressed his appreciation for the impeccable service provided by Maltco’s Agents during 2020 despite the pandemic situation. He also outlined that the Retail Management System which has been developed inhouse, is aimed to empower agents to grow further their business whilst also improving the overall entertainment experience of players through the provision of a superior service in a responsible and safe environment.

Maltco CCO David Anthony Gatt said the company would like to encourage all Agents to try their best in reaching their personalised targets and keep up with the RMS scheme. He also announced that a similar Agents’ promotion has been launched and will be running for the month of February.

Maltco Agent Matthew Polidano was stunned to win the top prize “I was surprised that I received the Diamond Trophy because my POS is quite small. These schemes are good incentives and support agents in improving their sales and earn more commission”.
