Malta Blackball Association’s AGM
On Monday 6 September, the Malta Blackball Association organized the Annual General Meeting which closed the work for this year as well as dissolved the present committee after the end of the twoyear term. Various topics were discussed and further amendments to the Statute as well as the General Regulations were approved.
In the opening speech, the President of the Federation, Jeffrey Farrugia thanked the members of their collaboration during the year and announced that he will not be contesting the election for a new committee.
Secretary-General Philip Gatt presented the Federation's Administrative Report, which covered the laborious work of the last twelve months. The meeting explained the amendments to the statute and the General Regulations that were necessary for the Malta Blackball Association to comply with the requests of the Commissioner of Voluntary Organizations, as the
Malta Blackball Association is in the process of being officially recognized as a voluntary organization.
Treasurer Robert Attard presented the Financial Report confirming the stable financial situation of the Association. The report was approved unanimously by the members present.
Subsequently, the Elections Board welcomed the nominations for members of the new Committee and a vote was taken.
Following the announcement of the result, the Malta Blackball Federation Committee for the next two years will be composed of the following members:
